Customer Data · Frankfurt

We noticed something unusual in our Frankfurt orders. And it could mean some men aren't getting the full potential from their beard growth routine.

Something strange has been happening in Frankfurt.

Men are buying our Beard Activator. A lot of them, actually.

But when we looked a little closer at the orders, one thing stood out: a surprising number of customers were ordering the Activator without also getting the Beard Roller.

At first, that might not sound like a big deal. After all, the Activator is the serum — that's the product you apply directly to the areas where your beard feels patchy or uneven. So surely that's the important part?

Not quite.

Frankfurt, we found the gap — 2,379 of 6,120 men bought Activators only, a 39% Activator-only order rate

The part of the routine many Frankfurt customers are missing

The Beard Activator wasn't originally developed as a standalone miracle bottle. It was created as part of a broader beard growth routine.

That routine combines daily use of the Activator with regular use of the Beard Roller and cleansing of the skin.

And that distinction matters. Because the results we talk about from our 150-day beard study weren't based on people simply applying the Activator and hoping for the best. They followed the full routine.

So if there's a bottle of Activator sitting in your bathroom somewhere between Römerberg and Sachsenhausen, there's one question worth asking: where's your Beard Roller?

This is not how we roll, Frankfurt — Römerberg square

Why the Roller is there in the first place

The Activator and the Roller do two different jobs.

Copenhagen Grooming Beard Activator bottle

The Activator

A targeted serum formulated around Capilia Longa™, developed for areas of reduced beard growth. It's intended for a different purpose than conditioning — not the same idea as putting beard oil on a patchy area.

The Roller

The stimulation part of the routine. Rather than treating the beard hair you already have, it's designed around the skin and the follicles underneath it.

That's also why this isn't the same idea as simply putting beard oil on a patchy area. Traditional beard oils mainly condition existing hair and skin. The Activator is intended for a different purpose entirely.

One bottle versus the routine

We completely understand why people start with just the Activator. It's simple. Apply it. Leave it in. Carry on with your day.

The Activator paired with the Beard Roller

The Activator + Roller

Adds the stimulation step the 150-day routine was actually built around.

You can do it before leaving for work in Bankenviertel, before grabbing coffee in Bornheim, or before heading across the Eiserner Steg later that evening.

The Roller requires a little more intention. But the important thing is this: the routine that was evaluated over 150 days included both.

The Beard Growth Kit brings together the Beard Activator, Beard Roller and Cleanser as one consistent routine.

That doesn't mean we can claim that adding a Roller will automatically give everyone better results than Activator alone. Beard growth is biological. Genetics matter. And no cosmetic product can create follicles that simply don't exist.

But if you bought the Activator because you saw results from our beard growth routine, it makes sense to understand what that routine actually involved.

What happened after 150 days?

20 men followed the Copenhagen Grooming beard growth routine for 150 days. The study showed that:

94%
activated new facial hairs
55%
experienced denser beard growth
10%
saw improved hair thickness

The important word here is routine. Not one application. Not one bottle. Not one week. A consistent routine over 150 days.

That's why checking your beard every morning in the mirror usually isn't very helpful. Changes in hair growth happen slowly. Monthly pictures under similar lighting will tell you far more than staring at the same patch every day.

What consistency looks like, when you include the Roller

These aren't stock photos. They're real customers who followed the full routine — Activator and Roller together.

Jonathan · 6 months into the routine

"That was me attempting to grow out my beard naturally for 2 months without shaving. This is 6 months later, on my beard journey using the Beard Growth Kit. If there is any advice I would give: use Copenhagen Grooming and stay consistent."

Morgan · Approximately 10 months of use

"Trust me, guys, I have been using this stuff for about 10 months now, and how much my beard comes in is ridiculous."

Joery · Several months of consistent use

"I was very sceptical at first, so I took pictures every month — and they proved that I was the one who was wrong. The product worked exactly as advertised."

The Frankfurt beard mistake

So maybe the beard mistake happening in Frankfurt isn't buying the wrong product. It's buying only part of the routine.

If you already have the Activator, you haven't wasted your money. Far from it — you already have one of the core parts.

But if your reason for buying it was to follow Copenhagen Grooming's beard growth approach, it may be worth completing the setup.

Activator + Roller + consistency. That's the idea. Not more products. Not a ten-step grooming routine. Not obsessing over your beard every morning. Just giving the routine enough time to actually do what it was designed to do.

If your Activator is already there, take a look beside it.

If the Beard Roller is missing, you may have found the one part of the routine you overlooked.
